Christopher N. Mammel is a partner at Childress Duffy, Ltd. He resides and practices in Florida, focusing his practice on the handling and resolution of insurance disputes on behalf of policyholders. He advises, consults, and represents the insured on insurance policy interpretation and loss valuation to capture the maximum policy benefits due, as well as additional funding when acts or omissions of third parties contributed to the loss. He has acted as lead counsel in state and federal trial and appellate litigation in several states, including matters brought on behalf of certified classes. Chris has also arbitrated disputes before the International Chamber of Commerce. He has conducted numerous bench and jury trials and has represented clients in matters resulting in significant reported decisions in state and federal courts. He has negotiated numerous multi-million dollar settlements on behalf of individual and corporate plaintiffs and plaintiff classes.
Education
Chris received a J.D., with honors, from The University of Denver College of Law in 1980, and a B.A. in economics, cum laude, in 1977 from The University of Denver. He was a General Editor of the Denver Law Journal during 1978 –79.

Publications and Speaking Engagements
Chris was invited to present at the 2008 Annual Conference of the National Association for Employment Lawyers in Atlanta, speaking on the role of insurance coverage for employment liability disputes.
Recently, in 2010 Chris co-authored “Condominium and Homeowner Association Board Member Fiduciary Duties – Investigating and Pursuing Claims for Catastrophic Loss.”
Language
Chris lived in Heidelberg, Germany in 1975 – 76 and still remembers some German.
