Michael W. Duffy is a partner at Childress Duffy, Ltd., a law firm headquartered in Chicago with extensive experience in helping insurance policyholders with their claims. He focuses his practice on insurance recovery and related litigation pertaining to coverage matters. With a passion for trying cases, he has represented national and international policyholders in matters that involve risk management, disaster recovery, and insurance coverage since 1981. In addition, he has practiced pro hac vice throughout the United States and in Germany, Mexico, and Canada. 

Education

Michael received a J.D. in 1981 from Loyola Law School in Chicago, Illinois, and a B.A., with high honors, from Notre Dame in 1978.

Michael frequently gives seminars and speeches throughout the country on a variety of litigation topics including; trial practice techniques and strategies, evidence arbitrations, expert witness preparation and presentation in adversary proceedings, and taking expert witness depositions in the areas of personal injury, property damage, insurance, and commercial litigation. He has also given speeches and lectures during the last five years in prosecuting cases dealing with: mold injury claims, property damage claims, construction defects cases, and failure to disclose in real estate transactions, exterior finish insulation systems cases and product liability matters, as well as mass toxic tort cases.
