Sandra Alvarez joined the firm in 2011.  She has over 12 years of law firm accounting experience. She graduated from DePaul University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and in 2009, she received a Master of Science degree in Accounting from Roosevelt University.

Seth Bohn joined the firm in 2009 as part of the company’s new efforts to go green and paperless. With the title of Gatekeeper, he oversees all incoming documents and ensures that they are uploaded to the company share site for all the staff to view, thus helping to eliminate a needless waste of paper. Seth attended the Illinois Institute of Art for graphic design. When he’s not recording and touring with his band, he continues his love for design by working in his screen printing studio and offering those services freelance.

Michael Bradtke joined Childress Duffy in March of 2011 and has over 5 years of management experience. He graduated from DePaul University in June of 2010 with a major in European History and a Minor in Political Science, and he plans to attend law school in Chicago in 2012.

Jelena BulJuBasic joined Childress Duffy in July 2011. She graduated from the University of Arizona in 2008 with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and a minor in History. In May 2010 she obtained her Paralegal Certificate from Loyola University Chicago Institute for Paralegal Studies with a focus in Civil Litigation. She is fluent in Serbo-Croatian, and has over 5 years of experience in assisting with property management and client relations.

Isabelle Bursakowska joined Childress Duffy in 2006. She has over three years of legal experience in personal injury, medical malpractice and workers’ compensation. Izabela graduated from Loyola University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Studies in May 2005.

Jennifer Campbell joined Childress Duffy in April of 2009. She received her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Northern Michigan University and received her paralegal certificate from Roosevelt University.

Sheela Cardeno joined Childress Duffy in June of 2011. She graduated from Loyola University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and minor in History. She has over five years of experience in office administration.

Tanisha Cook joined the firm in August 2011. She graduated from Chicago State University in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She has over 12 years of law firm accounting experience.

Maria Egues is assisting Zorian Sperkacz  in the Miami, Florida office.  She comes to us with over 20 years legal experience in several types of law including civil litigation, personal injury, corporate, employment, family and real estate law.  Maria is fluent in Spanish and studied in the Miami Dade Community College Legal Assistant Program.  During the past several years she has volunteered in various capacities for Hands On Miami, a not-for-profit organization which services foster children, the elderly, the homeless and the Humane Society.

Andrea Fikany joined Childress Duffy in December 2010.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Western Michigan University in April 2007.  She has over 4 years experience in customer service and administrative roles.

Robert Gillis joined Childress Duffy in January 2010.  He has over 11 years of experience in the Information Technology field and for the last 7 years he has focused on specializing in Litigation Technology.

Christina Jaremus graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago in December of 2007 with a major in English, American Literature and minor in Gender and Women’s Studies.  In January 2008, Christina worked as a Paralegal handling plaintiff’s side civil suits, until August of 2010 when she joined Childress Duffy.  Christina also attends Chicago-Kent College of Law as an evening student.

Marlena Kavalauskas joined Childress Duffy in April of 2010. She has over 10 years of experience in executive administrative and customer service roles. She enjoys the legal process that she supports and working toward a successful outcome for the clients of Childress Duffy.

Annette Lara joined Childress Duffy in 2005. She has over 10 years of legal experience in personal injury, medical malpractice, product liability and workers’ compensation. She is familiar with practices and procedures of various state and administrative courts. Annette graduated from Robert Morris College with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management in February 2002.

Cheryl Lutgen joined the firm in 2011 and has over 10 years experience in law firm marketing.  She recently received her Bachelor’s degree in Art, magna cum laude, from Valparaiso University.  In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and one of her dream trips is to go to Australia.

Leslie Molina joined Childress Duffy in February 2008. She has over three years of legal experience in plaintiff and defense work cases relating to personal injury, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, nursing home negligence and real estate. Leslie graduated from Fox College with an Associates Degree in Business Administrative Assistance in 2005 and graduated from the American Institute of Paralegal Studies with a Paralegal Certificate in 2007.

Roberto Santiago joined the firm in 1999. He manages Childress Duffy’s Service Center.

Stephen Ucherek has been with the firm since September 2010.  Working as a Gatekeeper, he helps to keep the firm “paperless” in a new era of environmental consciousness.  When he’s not scanning and uploading documents, he writes music and plays rock and roll with his band, Village.

Katie Wilson joined Childress Duffy in December of 2009. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education and Psychology from Northern Michigan University in May 2008. She has 8 years of experience in customer service and administrative roles.
