Thomas J. Loucks is the Managing Partner at Childress Loucks & Plunkett, a law firm with extensive experience in helping insurance policyholders with their claims. He focuses his practice on insurance recovery and related litigation while representing the regional and national insured policyholder in property insurance claims and lawsuits. On behalf of plaintiffs, Thomas has successfully tried numerous cases to verdict, arbitrations, and mediations regarding risk management/disaster recovery and insurance coverage matters. In addition, he has argued several appeals in the Illinois Appellate Court.
Education & Court Admissions :
Thomas received a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School in Chicago in 1983, and a B.S. from Illinois Wesleyan University in 1980.
Community Involvement
Community Service is an integral part of his life. He currently serves as a Board Member of Mailisita Foundation, which helps underprivileged orphans in Tanzania. He has also served as a football coach since 2000, coaching 2nd through 8th grades.
Bar Admissions and Courts
Thomas is a member of the bar in various State, Federal District, and Appellate Courts across the Country. In addition, he has practiced pro hac vice throughout the United States.
